Debbie Spander is the President of the Board of Directors of Westcoast Sports Associates, bringing more than two decades of service on the Board of WSA and a career at the intersection of sports, media, and leadership.
​
Debbie is the Founder and CEO of Insight Sports Advisors, a boutique agency representing media talent, coaches, executives, influencers, and NIL athletes. Known as a fierce advocate for her clients, she draws on deep industry relationships and a strategic understanding of the evolving sports landscape to help clients build personal brands, pursue the right opportunities, and maximize career growth.

As Board President, Debbie is focused on helping WSA build on its strong foundation and enter its next chapter of impact. Her priorities include increasing visibility and storytelling around WSA’s mission, and expanding the organization’s fundraising and partnership opportunities, so WSA can grow the resources needed to help more youth across Southern California access sports and the benefits that come with it.

Previously, Debbie was a Senior Vice President at Wasserman, where she represented high-profile broadcasters, coaches, and executives and served as a founding member of the firm’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council. Earlier in her career at Fox Sports Networks, she was the lead negotiator and lawyer for national telecast licenses, including the landmark $1.2B NASCAR television rights agreement, and helped create Pac-10 Properties and relaunch the Pac-10 (now Pac-12) basketball tournament. She also structured and negotiated tens of millions of dollars in sponsorship and marketing agreements for Fox Cable Integrated Sales & Marketing.

Debbie is a Director for the Arizona State University Bud Selig Sports Business & Law Program and serves on the board of Team to Win. She was named a Sports Business Journal Game Changers honoree, is a frequent speaker at sports business and media conferences, and was inducted into the Southern California Jewish Sports Hall of Fame.
