LA City Recreation Centers
WSA's longest-standing partnership — nearly 30 years strong — provides funding for youth sports programs at recreation centers throughout Los Angeles, giving thousands of kids access to organized sports.

Beyond parks, WSA partners with nonprofits across Southern California that share our mission of making youth sports accessible to every child.

Team Prime Time
Team Prime Time provides after-school programs that use sports, fitness, and mentoring to keep at-risk youth engaged, active, and on the path to success. Their programs serve thousands of kids across LAUSD and Inglewood schools.

America SCORES LA
America SCORES LA is an urban youth development program that brings students together to play soccer, write poetry, and perform community service. 98% of alumni have graduated from high school — far exceeding the district average.

Beat the Streets LA
Beat the Streets LA uses wrestling as a vehicle to build tomorrow's leaders. Through year-round training, mentoring, and their Tomorrow's Leaders program, BTSLA provides youth with the discipline, confidence, and skills to succeed in life.

Harlem Lacrosse LA
Harlem Lacrosse is a school-based nonprofit that changes life trajectories through daily academic support, mentoring, leadership training, college readiness, and lacrosse instruction. Their LA chapter serves youth across the city.

Boys & Girls Club of Hollywood
The Boys & Girls Club of Hollywood does whatever it takes to build great futures — offering education programs like READS, UCLA Music, Tietjen Scholars, and Girls Empowerment to Hollywood-area youth.

Bresee Foundation
Bresee battles poverty by empowering youth and families in Los Angeles with the skills, resources, and relationships necessary to thrive. Their Youth Sports Leaders program uses athletics as a tool for development and community building.

USTA Southern California
The USTA Southern California Tennis Association promotes tennis at all levels throughout the region, with a focus on making the sport accessible to youth in underserved communities through free clinics and equipment.

LAPD Hollenbeck PAL
LAPD Hollenbeck PAL builds the bond between cops and kids through their Sports 4 Kids program, providing under-served boys and girls ages 4–18 with soccer, fitness, and nutrition classes as a positive alternative to the dangers of the streets.

Special Camp
Special Camp has been building friendships and breaking down barriers for over 30 years. Founded in San Juan Capistrano in 1992, the camp provides one-to-one support for school-age children with disabilities through sports and recreation.

Rugby LA
Rugby LA brings no-cost, play-based flag rugby to after-school programs across Los Angeles County. In just five years, they've introduced the sport to over 10,000 youth — with a goal to double that by the LA28 Olympics.

YAL Compton
The Compton Youth Activities League provides educational and recreational programs for the children of Compton, with dedicated staff and volunteers committed to youth protection, mentoring, and community building.

Boys & Girls Club of Pasadena
The Boys & Girls Club of Pasadena enables Pasadena youth to reach their full potential through programs and activities focused on academics, health, character development, and leadership. WSA is specifically supporting their effort to provide sports programming for children affected by the Eaton Fire in 2025.

Ready, Set, Gold!
Ready, Set, Gold! is a non-profit community health and fitness program that promotes healthy and active lifestyles to children in Southern California schools.
